Asking for Prayer

Just signed a contract to produce a chapter for a new book being edited by my friend and teaching buddy, Dr. John Fuder of Moody Graduate School.

The Book is titled Heart for the City II, and is a follow up to Dr. Fuder's first book. My chapter will be in the section related to Ministering to Suburban Needs and deal with the dual issues of urban/suburban partnerships especially as it relates to multi-cultural ministry.

First draft is due to the publishers in January. Specific prayer requests:

  1. Wisdom in the writing.
  2. Honesty concerning the reality of multi-ethnic, mutli-cultural ministry.
  3. Good time management of the process with all my other responsibilities.
  4. Clear articulation of concepts and stories.

Thanks.

Congratulations on the contract! Sounds like a challenging project, and I'm sure carving out the time will not be simple. I will pray as you take this on!
