Church Planting Class

For those church planters and church planting wanabees out there: Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is offering a new schedule for the church planting class I teach. The class is going to meet in four blocks on a Friday/Saturday schedule. (PT 5150, Section 1, Introdution to Church Planting)

January 18-19
February 15-16
March 14-15
April 11-12

Friday sessions will be from 6:30-9:00 PM
Saturday sessions will be from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

The hope is that this will give more students the opportunity to fit the class into their schedule and open it up to more pastors in the area who want to explore church planting for themselves or their church. I'm looking forward to eating meals with the students and having conversations that are less governed by the clock of a more traditional schedule.

Get the word out and pray that many more will seize the opportunity and heed the call to plant new church planting churches worldwide.

I would certainly recommend this class to anyone who has even a remote interest in church planting. This class along with the second of the two church planting classes that Marty teaches were two of my absolute favorite classes in my seminary career. It would be terrific if some local pastors took advantage of this opportunity!

I will echo Trevor's comments about Marty's classes. I am now planting my second church since graduating from TEDS and continually go back to my class notes for help.
