In the beginning God created a humbled man.
His life and work were formless and void
and darkness hovered over the depths of his soul.
But the Spirit of the Lord traveled there also.
And God said, "there will be light."
And a pin prick of light pierced the darkness
of the man's soul.
And God began to separate the light from the darkness.
God called the light "My will" and the darkness
He called "your will."
And on the first day the man knew that God was with him
and would not forsake him.
And the man waited for the second day,
with hope.
