First Sunday After

First Sunday post New Song. Made it. Stephnie and I went out to Plano and visited a church planter who I met at a church planting conference. It was a good Sunday to see a young leader working hard with a talented and committed team to impact a community for Christ. Afterward, Steph and I got to have lunch with one of the key leaders to debrief.

This is exactly the kind of thing I want to do more of. God's call for me is to invest in young leaders and help them to plant church-planting churches that will change the landscape of the country and transform the hearts of communities. Pray for Jacob's Well and the work they are doing to reach Plano and the surrounding community. And pray that their vision to plant future churches is realized.

This has been a week of phone calls. I have been calling many old friends, making contact and setting up appointments to share our new ministry. It has also been a week of complicated planning for the month of November

Briefly:
Oct. 29-Nov. 6 Put out Nov. Newsletter
Nov. 3-6 Doctor of Ministry Class
Nov. 7-13 Bangkok, Thailand for a Food for the Hungry Board Meeting
Nov. 14 High School reunion
Nov. 14-24 Support raising in OH, PA, NJ, MD and VA
Nov. 25-27 Thanksgiving rest
Nov. 28-30 Back to Support Raising.

Pray for my stamina and health!

Wow, major transition point navigated successfully. Though, I bet, with some pain.

I don't remember talking with you about it but do you have an opinion on The Acts 29 Network? Just curious.
