What I preached on first Sunday in January
Three of the Resolves of Jonathan Edwards.
1. Resolved, to live with all my might, while I do live.
2. Resolved, never to do anything out of revenge.
3. Resolved, after affliction, to inquire what I am better for becasue of them, what good I have got from them, and what I might have got by them.
Three for myself this year
4. Resolved, to read through the Bible in 2006.
5. Resolved to be a more Christ-exalting man this year.
6. Resolved, on a regular basis, to ask my wife how I am doing in all these areas.
